About Us

Mission:

IVI, first and formost, advocates and provides the value of learning about
international service, cross-cultural perspectives, and world awareness. The
organization also offers opportunities to serve in various communities in
developing countries in terms of human interest and human capital. IVI serves as
a bridge builder to international communities.

Core Values:

IVI for Service Learning: We want to provide meaningful, analytical internships that go beyond just the service. We want to provide a forum for discussion of international service learning and its tensions and important issues in the international arena.

IVI for Sustainability: We serve where our on-site partners tell us we are needed. Our goal is to invest in long lasting projects to maximize the benefits for our partners.

IVI for Peace: We serve as ambassadors who represent our homes. We go to the places where our partners live in order to establish cross-cultural dialogue: a foundation for understanding and peace.
